In the heart of Dordrecht, one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands, the story of Rutte begins in 1872, when Simon Rutte opened a small distillery behind his father’s grocery store. What started as a passion for creating spirits with rich, natural flavors soon became a legacy passed down through generations. Rutte was different from the start—insisting on using only fresh fruits, herbs, and spices rather than artificial flavors or extracts. This philosophy still defines the distillery today.

Rutte Dutch Dry Gin is a modern expression of that heritage—distilled in the same building where Simon once worked, using the original copper stills and recipes refined over 150 years. The gin combines traditional juniper with a unique blend of botanicals, including coriander, angelica, orange peel, and a distinctively Dutch twist: celery leaf.
