Step up your mixology game and join the Rutte Basil Smash Challenge! This is your chance to reimagine the classic Basil Smash cocktail and showcase your unique twist using ingredients from the renowned Rutte Distillery. Whether you’re experimenting with fresh herbs, innovative spirits, or unexpected flavors, your creation could redefine cocktail artistry.

How to Participate:

1. Feature the Classic: Add the original Basil Smash to your cocktail menu. We’ll provide you with a specially designed menu to help kickstart your journey.
2. Craft Your Twist: Elevate the classic recipe by incorporating an additional ingredient or twist from the Rutte Distillery (for example, Rutte Celery Gin or Rutte Old Simon Genever) to create a truly unique cocktail.
3. Submit Your Creation: Once your innovative version is perfected, submit your recipe and presentation for evaluation. Our expert panel will review all entries and select the top three contenders.

Prizes:

• First Prize: €2000, 30 custom Rutte Gin bottles, and an exclusive afternoon internship at Rutte for your team.
• Second Prize: €800 and 12 custom Rutte Gin bottles.
• Third Prize: €250 and 6 custom Rutte Gin bottles.
